As examples of treatment, recommended by the author, may be taken the intra-uterine application of electricity on successive occasions for the cure of dysmenorihcea This is certainly a method of treatment which will not commend itself to most gynecologists at least in the case of unmarried women and to talk of the more ordinary methods of treatment by forcible dilatation of the cervical canal for this condition as " harsh methods of treatment "
